Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Lucius Annaeus Seneca
Birth 4 BC
Death 65 AD

Roman philosopher and late stoic. Pantheist, playwright and major government figure. He believed that everything was corporal and that knowledge was limitless. He was tutor to Nero, which cost him dearly; when he grew up to be emperor, he ordered Seneca to kill himself.
